The Fountain Inn, SC tapestry from Keepsake Cottons is a throw which showcases the distinctive qualities of both city and state. As part of a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce in Fountain Inn, Keepsake Cottons created a collage design that highlights images unique to this small town in South Carolina. Keepsake Cottons researched the history of Fountain Inn to design a tapestry filled with town symbols as well as state symbols on a royal blue background. The first photo of Fountain Inn, the statue of “Peg-Leg” Bates, and a depiction of the famous author Robert Quillen are entwined with state symbols such as the yellow jasmine, the Carolina wren, and the palmetto tree to produce a custom throw enriched with Southern charm.
