To show recognition to their large distributors, Kitchen Aid wanted a unique gift of appreciation. In 1999, Kitchen Aid sold 1 million electric mixers, and they wanted to celebrate this great accomplishment with those who made it possible. Keepsake Cottons designed a 3 layer throw which highlighted the electric mixer in the center.This popular product was accentuated with other Kitchen Aid products, like the toaster, blender, coffeemaker, food processor, and hand mixer. These custom throws were given to those individuals who vigorously sold the electric mixers, surpassing all expectations.
