The Paul Runyan Golf Classic was a special event of the Orthopedic Hospital of Los Angeles, which provides charitable care to children regardless of their financial means. Each year the hospital holds a golf tournament to raise funds for children with crippling diseases. The tournament was named after Paul Runyan as a way to honor him as an outstanding PGA pro and for his interest in the Orthopedic Hospital. As a reminder of the tournament, Keepsake Cottons designed a 2 layer throw in natural and hunter green featuring Paul Runyan and his famous swing, as well as the “Play for the Children” logo, with a border of trophies accentuating the blanket. Just one of the many hospital themes Keepsake Cottons has created, this blanket was used and displayed in the homes of the golfers and donors of this noteworthy event.
