St. Thomas

Custom • 2 layer • Anniversary Blanket (Fundraiser)

As one of the oldest and largest parishes in Ann Arbor, St. Thomas the Apostle Church wanted to provide church members with a unique memento that would convey the rich heritage of the church building’s 100 year anniversary. A Keepsake Cottons 2 layer throw was chosen to commemorate this special occasion. Images were provided and included in the blanket to depict the history of the evolving church building. The throw shows a chronological progression of the church from beginning to the present-day structure. The medallions in the four corners of the blanket are taken from a church door in the interior of the church. A copy of the verbiage taken from the historical marker is also included. The parishioners were delighted with the final design, and the taupe and natural colors allowed the blanket to blend in nicely with every church member’s household color scheme.
